Description
KEYSTONE LININGS’s Birch plywood is a multi-layered plywood panel manufactured from a 1.5mm thick layer that produces a panel of uniform appearance. It is made from slow-growing plantation logs sourced across the northern hemisphere from Russia to Scandinavia. The slow growth produces a layer that is close-grained and of a consistently high quality.
High-quality rotary ply is used for the face and back of this plywood and it is constructed with multiple constructions. Multiple is a term used to describe that the plywood is produced with the same thickness layers throughout resulting in a stable product that is also visibly appealing. Highly sought after for wall and ceiling applications where the plywood is clear finished to highlight its unique character.

I’ve used Keystone Linings’ Birch Plywood for everything from high-end residential cabinetry to large commercial wall claddings. The plywood’s smooth surface and light colour give any project a refined look, whether it’s for ceilings, walls, or even furniture. It works well both indoors and outdoors, although I’d recommend additional treatment for heavy outdoor exposure. The only thing is, it’s a bit pricey, but the quality makes it worth it.

Outstanding Versatility for Commercial Use
Keystone Linings’ Birch Plywood has become our preferred material for commercial projects, especially when installing wall panels and ceilings. The smooth, uniform finish makes it stand out aesthetically, and the light colour blends well with a variety of design styles. It’s durable enough to handle outdoor applications, but it really shines in interiors where the finish quality matters most. Highly recommended for builders and architects looking for a reliable, versatile material.

Highly Recommended for Commercial Projects
We recently completed a large commercial development and used Keystone Linings’ Birch Plywood for the walls and ceilings throughout. The plywood’s smooth, uniform finish made it easy to work with, and its attractive light colour brightened the spaces beautifully. It’s sturdy and holds up great under various conditions, making it ideal for both interior and exterior use. Our clients are thrilled with the final product – I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the construction industry.
