Keystone Linings is proud to supply our panels for The Summit Aquatic and Leisure Centre, South Australia – A state-of-the-art indoor aquatic and fitness facility. The project required a tailored combination of aesthetic impact and acoustic performance, and Keystone was proud to supply products that achieved both.
For the ceilings, we supplied our 9mm Key-Ink Fibre Cement panels, digitally printed in Classic Oak, meeting SE compliance and achieving a Group 1 fire rating. Pre-finished Key-Eclipse panels and Key-Nirvana in Emerald Classic Oak were specified for the walls. These were manufactured from grey 12mm FR MDF, also Group 1 rated, featuring the KP3/40/13 perforation pattern. K100 black acoustic backing was added for enhanced sound absorption.
The dual-substrate solution was precision-cut to size, ensuring a cohesive result across contrasting materials. The scope of work required careful coordination, particularly around integrating different finishes while achieving consistent alignment.
The project was designed by DesignInc Adelaide and constructed by Kennett Builders, with ceiling installation by Piotto Interiors and wall installation by JRCM.
We would like to thank DesignInc Adelaide, Kennett Builders, Piotto Interiors and JRCM for their collaboration and professionalism throughout this project.
